CEREC® technology allows Drs. Daren Larsen and Josh Haslem to develop custom-made ceramic restorations while you wait! The ceramic used in this process is shaded to perfectly match your teeth. Your restorations will seamlessly complement your other natural teeth. Plus, your restorations are produced on the spot, without having to wait for a lab.
The CEREC® machine has two chief components. First, is the acquisition unit. This unit has a camera which takes a picture of your tooth and uses that image to create a 3D computer model of your tooth. This model allows Drs. Larsen and Haslem to develop a model of a restoration that will perfectly complement your tooth. Then, the CEREC® milling unit constructs this restoration which is available for immediate use. Your new smile is available within half an hour rather than several weeks with a lab.
